Now Accepting Applications - New Majority Fund

Headwaters Foundation for Justice is now accepting applications to the New Majority Fund. Centering the self-determination and leadership of people of color, the Fund will support groups led by and for communities of color that use a community organizing approach to change systems of injustice.

The fund draws on our long standing grantmaking criteria, and will provide organizations with two-year general operating grants, totaling $20,000. In addition to receiving funding, grantees will participate in Headwaters’ first-ever Movement Leadership Program during the second year of the grant.

We are accepting applications now through Wednesday, March 1 via our online web portal. Please visit our website to review the eligibility guidelines and criteria. To view the application, click here.

We strongly encourage all interested applicants to attend an Information Session. Please contact Program Officers Allison Johnson Heist or Melissa Rudnick with questions.
