About the Artist
Chamindika Wanduragala (she/her/hers) is a Sri Lankan American puppet artist with a visual arts background, and a DJ (DJ Chamun), based in Minneapolis. She loves transporting people to another world through puppetry and sharing the sense of joy and magic that comes with bringing a puppet to life. Chamindika is the founder and Executive/Artistic Director of Monkeybear’s Harmolodic Workshop, which supports Native, Black, IPOC in developing creative and technical skills in contemporary puppetry.
