In 2021, we created and shared the 2021 Transformation Calendar to celebrate some of Minnesota’s BIPOC artists while lifting our collective spirits. For a second year, we invited 12 local artists to share their vision and voice with the Headwaters community.

This year, our offering to community is the 2022 Radical Rest Calendar. We invited artists to contribute pieces and reflections about the theme of radical rest, and the role of art and rest in movements. Our second annual calendar, a beautiful collection of art and meditations on rest, is the result.

We hope this calendar serves as a reminder to pause, breathe deep, and tap into our collective resistance from another angle. Think beyond naps. Pursue the replenishment of you. Let yourself be at ease.
