The Wild and Indigenous Saturday Food Program reduces hunger among youth and their families in the village of Naytahwaush while increasing public awareness and offering culturally relevant solutions to health and nutrition problems within the community. The program from White Earth Land Recovery Project increases access to traditional knowledge of language, hunting and gathering, and food procurement and processing techniques while advocating for the support of community health and nutrition at all levels of policy-making.
