For over two decades, the White Earth Land Recovery Project has been a grassroots leader in economic and environmental justice, food security, community development, and energy sovereignty. Established in 1989, the White Earth Land Recovery Project is one of the most successful reservation-based non-profit organizations nationally. They work with organizations and tribal governments to develop programs that promote environmental and cultural stewardship while strengthening the community. The mission of the White Earth Land Recovery Project is to facilitate the recovery of the original land base of the White Earth Indian Reservation while preserving and restoring traditional practices of sound land stewardship, language fluency, community development, and strengthening our spiritual and cultural heritage.
