Greater Minnesota Worker Center

Grantee Year:
Saint Cloud

The Greater Minnesota Worker Center (GMWC) strives to eliminate poverty wages and to raise standards of living for low-wage workers in St. Cloud and surrounding communities. GMWC is particularly concerned with problems affecting immigrant workers and workers of color (Somali, South Sudanese, Latino and African American). Their campaigns have centered on such issues as living wages, fair and flexible scheduling, wage theft, safety, respect, discrimination on the job and earned sick and safe time.
