The Enitan Story will launch and test a project to train hospital staff on identifying potential labor trafficking victims. According to Enitan Story, Minnesota State spends no money on labor trafficking compared to over $13 million on sex trafficking. As a result, labor trafficking survivors are unidentified and/or unable to access available, existing resources in the community. The Enitan Story will collaborate with survivors of labor trafficking, community partners, and collaborators in the healthcare profession to train their providers on how to identify labor trafficking among their clients for the purpose of referring them to available resources for direct services.
