Dream of Wild Health mission is to promote health in the Native American community by expanding knowledge of and access to healthy indigenous foods and medicines. DWH is part of a groundswell movement to reclaim indigenous foods and lifeways, promote food sovereignty by working to increase food access and equity within the Native community. Our Native owned 10-acre indigenous foods, organic farm located in Hugo maintains a presence in Minneapolis and St. Paul with office and programming sites. DWH has one of the largest collections of heirloom indigenous food and medicinal seeds in the Upper Midwest. Food is medicine and the traditional foods and lifeways of our ancestors restore power, health and wellbeing to our community. DWH’s Native youth led programs begin decolonizing relationships and rebuilding Native connectivity to the earth.
