Cross Cultural Alliance of Duluth

Grantee Year:

The Cross-Cultural Alliance of Duluth (CCAD) is a new organization seeking to build relationships between among communities of color to address racial and cultural disparities in Duluth.  We are the first group of our kind in our region and are hopeful that we may play a pivotal role in building relationships and equity, if we build a strong, intentional, and respectful foundation. We need to solidify an organizational structure that allows for true cross-cultural dialogue and action.  This year-long project will include training for board and elders, as well as a facilitated retreat.  We also will have two focus groups for youth to build a youth advisory council.
