The African Career, Education & Resource, Inc (ACER) is a volunteer-driven, community-based organization founded to close the resource, health and information disparity gaps within Minnesota’s communities of African descent. ACER engages communities of color, mainly the African immigrant community in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, to organize around issues of economic development such as employment, health, education and civic engagement through an equity lens. ACER also work to connect the community to resources.
