Dream of Wild Health Twin Cities Metro
Dream of Wild Health (DWH) is a 30-acre, farm in Hugo, Minnesota. DWH serves Native youth, adults, and families with opportunities to learn about their culture, healthy living, gardening, Indigenous foods, medicines, and lifeways. DWH is an intertribal, independent 501(c)3 nonprofit that serves the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Native American community and is one of the longest continually operating Native American organizations in the Twin Cities.

Giving Project Grants support BIPOC-led organizations that use community organizing approach to address root causes of injustice. Headwaters has been offering Giving Project Grants since 2015.

Transformation Fund
Transformation Fund was developed in response to the 2020 murder of George Floyd and the ongoing culture of violence and white supremacy in our society’s systems and institutions.

Communities First Fund
Communities First Fund grants supported BIPOC-led organizations, responding to the immediate COVID-19-related needs in their communities during the early weeks and months of the pandemic.

Black Seed Fund
Black Seed Fund makes grants to Black-led groups, supporting their organizational development and capacity-building needs. These multi-year general operating grants are for Black-led organizations that grow power with Black people.
Community Innovation Grants
Community Innovation Grants were offered until 2021 in partnership with the Bush Foundation. Grants supported communities to use problem solving processes that lead to more effective, equitable, and sustainable solutions.
