New Majority Fund Information Session (In Person)

The New Majority Fund supports organizations that are led by and for communities of color and use a community organizing approach to address root causes of injustice. Eligible organizations will have an organized constituency base; a clear analysis of structural causes behind the challenges their community faces; and concrete goals and strategies to build power and change systems.

The New Majority Fund will award two-year general operating grants, totaling $20,000. In addition, grantee partners will nominate 2-3 leaders, staff members, or board members to participate in the Movement Leadership Project in summer 2020. Funds for the grants will be raised by members of the Giving Project, a cross-class, multiracial group which will work together over the course of six months to raise dollars from their friends, family and communities.

This information session is in person. It will take place at Headwaters' offices at 2801 21st Ave, Suite 132B, Minneapolis, MN 55407.
