Join us for the annual Black Radiance Network (BRN) BBQ. BRN houses the Justice and Liberation Fund, which makes grants to Black-led groups and supports their organizational development and capacity-building needs. These grants are for Black-led organizations that grow power with Black people in the state of Minnesota.

Please join us for a family-friendly BBQ event. We want to hear about what you have been working on and doing in the community!

This event is open to all community members engaged in the Black movement and power-building work in Minnesota.

For people coming from outside the Twin Cities, we have a transportation stipend available.

In following CDC guidelines for large gatherings we expect that everyone who is eligible will be fully vaccinated. If you have an exemption, we ask that you please wear a mask. Please do not attend if you are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

The event will be held outdoors. Masks will be optional for fully vaccinated attendees. We welcome individuals to make decisions around masking that allow them to most comfortably participate in the event, including wearing masks.
