Elizabeth Zalanga (she/her/hers) has a background working in public service and is committed to developing solutions to the conditions that lead to creating inequities in Minnesota. She worked as the Legislative Assistant for Minnesota State Senator Sandy Pappas (DFL - 65). Elizabeth also served in leadership on the boards of several nonprofits that advance equity in opportunities and outcomes for marginalized youth across the country.
Outside of work, Elizabeth was named as a 2018 Emerging City Champion, a 2019 Women's Foundation of Minnesota Innovator, and a 2020 United Nations Women Gender Youth Activist. She is an honors graduate of Saint Paul College and attended the University of Minnesota.
