Ari works behind-the-scenes, managing the logistics of HFJ’s grantmaking. She spends her time organizing systems, spreadsheets, and information to provide a supportive and accessible application process for grantees and grantseekers. Ari recently graduated with her Masters in Library and Information Science and brings an intersectional lens of radical hospitality and data justice to her role.
Originally from Western Massachusetts, Ari lives in South Minneapolis with far too many houseplants and her sassy cat, Calvin. She is a queer woman who loves channeling energy into creative projects like writing, pottery, or quilting. She also loves cooking and sharing food, being outside in nature, and is absolutely obsessed with gardening.
Ari is our grantmaking database expert and sees information sharing as a vital part of our radical movements. Contact her if you need technical support using our online Grant Portal for applications and reporting requirements.
