Tehout is a strategic research, planning, and evaluation professional with 20 years of experience in conceptualizing, managing, and evaluating community-based programs. She is currently a Senior Learning Officer at the McKnight Foundation. Previously, she founded and served as CEO of arcadia research & evaluation, leading a team of women and women of color evaluators, facilitators, and community liaisons dedicated to health equity efforts. Her clients spanned philanthropy, government, academia, and community organizations, focusing on project planning and evaluation, designing communities of practice, and co-creating conceptual frameworks and metrics. She also held research and planning positions at the Education Development Center, Ramsey County, and Hennepin County.
Tehout holds a PhD in Evaluation Studies, a Master of Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota. She lives in Saint Paul with her family and enjoys relaxing in her hammock in the summer and reading in the winter.
