40 Years of Resourcing Change:
Reflections and Future Visions for Minnesota Movements
Monday, September 30, 2024
On September 30, we gathered with community to celebrate and reflect on the last 40 years of resourcing change in Minnesota, while looking ahead to the next 40 years of fighting for - and winning - collective liberation.
The evening featured a conversation between Headwaters grantees about the past and future of Minnesota's movements. Thanks to our brilliant panelists:
- Kevin Reese, Until We are All Free
- Emilia Gonzalez Avalos, Unidos MN
- Rhiana Yazzie, New Native Theatre
- Roberto de la Riva, Inquilinxs Unidxs por Justicia
- Sana Wazwaz, American Muslims for Palestine - Minnesota
Attendees learned about Headwaters' legacy and impact over the past four decades and experienced live art by Studio Thalo capturing the evening's reflections and visions.
Thank you for joining us to honor the past, celebrate the present, and dream together for the next 40 years of work towards collective liberation!
